3rd Grade made Succotash!

Third grade history students Micah and Kyle learned about Squanto this week. Squanto, part of the Patuxet tribe, taught the Pilgrims many new things. One thing he taught them was how to make succotash, a Native American dish made from corn, Lima beans, and meat (usually bacon). Our 3rd grade students went “outside of the box” and wanted to make this dish for the rest of the student body. Micah and Kyle brought history class to life and shared the Native American culture with others through this tasty snack!
