See You at the Pole Event
On September 28th, NISCE students participated in the “See You at the Pole” (SYATP) event. We went out to the flag poles, sang praise to the Lord, and then said the Pledge of Allegiance, to the American flag, the Christian flag, and the Bible. We then took time to have prayer for our school and the nation.
Our nation is going through vast changes and is in need of prayer for the sake of our future generations. This year’s SYATP theme is Psalms 24:3-6.
“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face.” Psalm 24:3-6
We want to be “the generation of those who seek Him.” This country can turn around only “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chr. 7:14)” We at NISCE are instilling in our students to trust in God and let His word be a guide to their footsteps.
